  When  it comes to weight loss, there is no such thing as one size fits all.

A metabolic rate test shows how many calories you burn all day, every day.  Many factors affect a person's metabolic rate efficiency:  weight, age, body compostion, hormone levels, and gender, making it a highly unique number.  Studies have shown  that formulas that predict RMR or BMR have an up to 40% error rate.  This test gives  you precise, personalized results.

The Test

The test is a simple 10 minute breath test.  You simply sit back, relax, and breathe!  You will receive your results at the end of the test.

A Resting Metabolic Rate Test

  • Tells you exactly how many calories your body burns all day just to stay alive (Resting Metabolism Rate)
  • ​When added to Lifestyle (the simple activities of walking, eating, driving, etc.) and Exercise (the amount of calories you burn during exercise) you have a precise number of calories you body needs to lose, gain, or maintain weight.​

Preparing for the Test

  • Arrive at your appointment prepared to rest, this includes not exercising the day of the test
  • You should fast for 4 hours prior to your appointment
  • ​Avoid stimulants such as caffeine or cold medications.  Prescription medications should be taken according to schedule
